Substation
Today was an effing good time at the Substation. Me ane jialin went for the whole of the first half. There was My Writes, ETC, SuperIllegals, THE FIRE FIGHT, and MOST IMPORTANTLY.
CARACAL!
I got some band buttons too. Known as "badges" for the unscene people.
ETC was good. Given that they were a two piece band. Good-ol' indie psychorock.Fuckin creative music.
This is only the second time i'm seeing the Superillegals.They were not bad. Considering that they're a new band.
THEFIREFIGHT was fuckin awesome today. I loved "Fire At Night". btw Jon nearly cut off my head with his guitar cause he was swinging it to the crowd like a muthafucker, and given that i was RIGHT IN FRONT. Good dude.
And this bunch of lads, ladies and gentleman, is the reason i went down to the substation, Get right to the front at the stage and perspire myself from all the headbangin and handthrusts. CARACAL!

They played all my favourites! But they missed out Last Night At 12 I Felt Immense! damn When it was all over, i asked chris for an encore but he said there wasn't enough time. You GUYS NEED A SOLO CONCERT! =)
BTW I'm so fuckin proud of the local music scene today. Cause all the bands played really well. AND ALSO, because caracal's fuckin good at screamo! not that they're a screamo band, but one of their song "Phoenix" has a screamo part at the end and THEY WERE FUCKIN HARDCORE EXTREME! i couldnt resist headbanging all directions.
Their friend came up stage midway to do the screamo part. He's good. Sounded like a silverstein scream. Somehow he looked really familiar. oh well.
THEY WERE FUCK HARDCORE GOOD STUFF.
Btw Martin if you're readin this, you sing really well as a drummer =)
