BLues
Hi humans. I'm back with my 101st post.
So today was Annual Speech Day. My 4th year of contribution to my Badminton Team with blood, sweat, laughter and tears, is recognised today.
I collected the CCA Merit Award, together with grace. My overall vice-cap.
People always think that Captains collect CCA Merit Awards. Which was what happened to me today. But i've always been thinking that the whole team is not just about Me and grace. I've always regarded Edwin as a key figure in my team. Being the Boys Division Vice-Cap, he does about the same stuffs as me and Grace.
Every year only 2 or less persons get the CCA Merit Award in each CCA. So while in this cohort me and grace gets it, i think edwin deserves some recongnition.

Well Ed, You've only missed a piece of certificate and some governement cash. But what you didn't lose was RECOGNITION from people around you. And i mean, RESPECT.
Not only me, You are one who have certainly gained respect not only from people in the Team, but outside as well. So Cheers bro'. Don get disheartened by some losers making crappish comments today. You know it and I know it, We Own the masses =)
Chapter 2
Recently i find myself exploring the Blues Genre of music. Guess it's the work of my dad again hah.
A decade ago when i was 6, my dad introduced me to the first MUSIC i listened to. It was an album by The Beatles. So i listened to hits like "Yellow Submarine", "I Wanna Hold Your Hand", and "Help!" like a little kid which i was. Those were Vintage Rock'n'Roll at its best i swear. Then, he introduced me to the GODS of modern rock, the likes of U2, RedHotChilliPepper, Travis, DaveMatthews band, Nirvanna, Etc...
It was immense.
I was 'baptisted' into the world of MUSIC. Thanks to my dad. I think he's the coolest dad around. I mean, which dad jams with his rock band every week. Not many i guess. So well, 10 years on, a 16 year-old teen like me starts to explore Blues music by digging into dad's Extra-huge album collection.
What's next? Jazz?
Tomorrow's Gonna be a GOOD daY!! I'm hitting the beach after tuition. Till then peeps.

Cinema 3
Today, I felt as if i was in dreamland. I really felt that way.
Met Alicia this morning at 10. Took a train to Somerset. I've never noticed that there was a Classic photobooth at the back of the station. She pulled me in and took a pic haha. It owns Neoprints a zillion times.

We headed down to Orchard Cinneleisure. Watched Mr bean's holiday. That moment inside, at the start of the movie, i just went blank. Totally. I just couldn't stop smiling throughtout the movie. I Shan't put it in words here, but Ali' knows why. =)
Had pasta mania after the movie. Then we headed to my house, HMV@heeren. I bought Senses Fail - Still searching. I've a review for it on Friendster.
On the way back to somerset station where i would head back for tuition and she'll meet her fren, she was smsing and she said her hand was stiff. And Then....

I'm such a retard today. I didn't charge my phone overnight. So when i reached the studios, my phone died off halfway = my recording device died off. Damn. Couldn't use the rest of my bandmate's phones cause only mine can record a very clear sound. Crap. So we ended up only recording Chasing Cars and some crap we played out of boredom.
Who says only sports have Freestyle. Music Has them TOO !

Oh. And today's the debut of one of my self-written songs, now it's officially my Band's song. It's the 2nd original song from our band. And IT SOUNDS FREAKIN GOOD WITH THE BASS AND DRUMS AND EVERYTHING. Glad my band loved the song. Eugene Drummed it damn well and Edwin's speed bass notes were LETHAL. I'm sure some areas can be improved overtime but it's already so catchy and addictive in it's debut stages. I couldn't stop humming it on my way back home. BUT FREAK, TOO bad my phone died. Ass.

Crayons Can Melt On Us For All I Care - Relient K
Had lessons this morning till 3. Rushed back to take a shower and spend the rest of the day with Alicia. Went down to orchard for Hmv and PastaMania.
I'm Suprised!! HMV actually has RelientK's New album, it was just out a week ago. Such an achievement for this musically deprieved country.
I snatched the album like i saw Gold. Haha. So did she. Btw i can't wait for my Silverstein album to be shipped here from the states. About a week's time.

Me and the band are hitting the studios again tomorrow. I really, seriously, seriously, can't wait for it. It's been 672347549 years since we jammed. Tomorrow's gonna be special. We're gonna do all our songs to out best cause i'm gonna record it. I smell a Home made EP. Haha.

Was at the airport today to stone and help alicia do some stuff. Stoning is good. And we went swensons for ICEcREAM again.
So well After tuition, i went peninsular with my Dad for some Good Ol' Father&Son/Master&Apprentice Guitar browsing. haha. Then the both of us headed to Wheelock place. Since my Beloved Iriver Mp3 had it's last breath a few days ago, my dad got me a 4Gb ipod nano. How i love him =D Then we headed downstairs to both of our personal favourite, Borders, for some Good Ol' Father&Son/Master&Apprentice Music Browsing. Saw Amanda there.
I placed an order for Silverstein's Album to be flown in from the states. Probly takes a few weeks. Paid 15 Bucks deposit. Can't wait for it. BECAUSE this music-deprieved country don't have it.
Btw Alicia lent me Sherwood's Album, which her dad got from the states.
